Do you think either of them belong this year? This is a year where Bronco shows he has a program. He hasn't proved that yet. If the O-line does its job, and the defensive backfield doesn't surrender huge numbers of yards, I think BYU is a top 25 team this year. Let's see how they do against Washington, Air Force, and Florida State, a heckuva way to start the year.

I think the Utes are going to have such a huge target on their back there's an outside chance they will finish fourth in the conference.

And he needs to take USC of the list.
Of course.

I think they are getting hyped this preseason based on the way they finished last year (winning 6 of 7 with the only loss to Texas and they crushed Arizona 33-0 in the Holiday Bowl). Yes, they lose Suh on D and there will probably be a slight drop, but the Pelini Bros know how to coach defense and Crick and Steinkuhler should be good enough to fill in at DT. And the O returns basically everyone and can't be any worse than last year (#99 total offense).
Explain away the losses if you want. If we're playing the what if game, they would've lost to Mizzou if they didn't have Suh.

Florida at 7 is fair.

The SEC East is pretty down this year, but the game in Tuscaloosa should be epic.

Ok.

1) UNI
2) SIU
3) SDSU
4) MSU
5) Youngstown
6) NDSU
7) Illinois State
8) Western Illinois
9) Indiana State

Indiana State doesn't win a game all season. UNI, SIU, and SDSU all make the playoffs and advance to 2nd round. UNI plays SIU for the National Championship.

Texas A&M plays in a BCS bowl and crushes whoever they play.

Bold? Maybe. But hey, why not. Pick your favorite conference and throw out your predictions.
I doubt A&M wins the South. Their offense is probably the best of the big 12, but their defense is probably the worst.

On the flip side, Texas might be a little high. They have a pretty rough stretch early @Tech (where they always have problems), UCLA, OU, @Nebraska. That is the 3rd-6th games, so Gilbert won't have too much time before his feet are in the fire.

MSU is supposed to have a much better team this year. They might even beat out SDSU for third, and not advance to the 2nd round.

I went to school at MSU for 1 year Go Bears!

We're talking about the Big 12 South here. Defense is optional (practically).

I'm explaing two 1 point losses and one 2 point loss. Its pretty difficult to explain a 15 point loss.
