Do you think either of them belong this year? This is a year where Bronco shows he has a program. He hasn't proved that yet. If the O-line does its job, and the defensive backfield doesn't surrender huge numbers of yards, I think BYU is a top 25 team this year. Let's see how they do against Washington, Air Force, and Florida State, a heckuva way to start the year.

I think the Utes are going to have such a huge target on their back there's an outside chance they will finish fourth in the conference.

I doubt A&M wins the South. Their offense is probably the best of the big 12, but their defense is probably the worst.

On the flip side, Texas might be a little high. They have a pretty rough stretch early @Tech (where they always have problems), UCLA, OU, @Nebraska. That is the 3rd-6th games, so Gilbert won't have too much time before his feet are in the fire.

We're talking about the Big 12 South here. Defense is optional (practically).

I'm explaing two 1 point losses and one 2 point loss. Its pretty difficult to explain a 15 point loss.
