Visited my brother up there recently. Cool city. Lots of interesting places downtown. Had a more "hip" feel than you'd expect a city like that to have.

It's pretty consistently rated one of the smartest cities in America. If I remember right, "smartest" was defined by occupants having high levels of education (postgrad degrees and whatnot).

cold winters. (unless you are moving from ND or winnipeg-but then you's already know about the city)

a nice place to live. really easy to live and get around by car.

if you need NYC/coast city excitement, it isnt a matcg
