Default Using a keyboard to check a checkbox

I use my keyboard instead of a mouse to do most of my computing. One thing I haven't figured out is how check/uncheck a checkbox (in an online form, e.g.).

Is there a way to do this?

See the poll above. How would I make a selection without using a mouse? I can tab to a box, but how do I check it?

Click them with your mouse. Use mouse keys if you are really deadset on using your keyboard.
