Default School Principal Acting Really Strange

I was curious what some people thought about this. I might withhold some details at first, and add them later on to see if it changes your mind.

A local school principal was arrested a few weeks ago after allegedly "stabbing" her ex-boyfriend. The way the story goes, she was apparently upset about a recent break-up, went over to his house to confront him, and when the conversation didn't go the way she wanted to, she grabbed a kitchen knife and threatened to cut herself.

Ex-boyfriend tries to stop her, and in the process, the principal lowers the knife and cuts him. It sounds from both parties that there was never an intent for the ex-boyfriend to get hurt. He was cut after trying to stop her from hurting herself unintentionally.

Principal returns to her home, where police later arrive. After entering the house, the principal once again grabs a knife and threatens to cut herself and shows police scars on her wrists from where she's done this before. Police detain her without any more people being hurt, either intentionally or unintentionally.

She was charged with misdemeanor battery.

Should this lady still have a job as a school principal?

Not if she has exhibited suicidal tendencies. She should be suspended from children-related activities immediately pending a full investigation.

Also, is she a 15 year old girl? Cause she sounds a little bit like a 15 year old girl.

Should she be? No.

Is it legally possible to fire/reassign her for this? Idunno.

I feel bad for anyone going through this kind of anguish, but she shouldn't be in a position of responsibility for kids.

This person does not need the stresses of the job of principal if she's already this unstable.
