Nice work

Youve got multiple goals going on at once, right?

yeah, took some time off from lifting for playing lots of sports, and wanted to see if I'd lost anything but was able to put up more than ever. A bunch of pushups helped.

My goals all revolve around being better at the sports I play, so running faster, jumping higher, more explosive, don't get hurt

running workout this morning:

8 rounds, run 400m then rest 90 sec.

goals:
run all at <1:50.
run last 4 at < first 4.

I have a small lap in my neighborhood that is measured at 400 m for each of 2 legs (A and B) by gmap-pedometer.com, but I invariably run the B legs faster, I think they're a little shorter.

Leg:time

A: 1:50
B: 1:43
B: 1:42
A: 1:50
A: 1:45
B: 1:39
B: 1:38
A: 1:43

goal 1: all under 1:50. CHECK
goal 2: last 4 faster than first 4. CHECK

Switched to mixed grip/over-under. Also doing singles rep sets helped too.

this week I'll do some benchmark workouts from Crossfit and post them here; in 3-4 months I'll do some more and compare.

first: Isabel - 30 snatch, scaled to 95#, for time: 2:36
then 10 minute rest,
then: Grace - 30 clean & jerk, scaled to 115#, for time: 4:08

I think these were the right weights today, as I felt totally gassed after each one, despite the rest I did take in between. Sets were as follows. I: 10-10-10; G-10-5-5-5-5. Had to take the rest and breathe and re-chalk my hands, I was sweating so much. I feel really worked out right now.
