my right one is recovering in about a week, but my left gets much tigher/sorer and takes 2 weeks. this was my 4th time doing these ("all out") sprints so i am hoping it's just a matter of conditioning.

Do you always start off of the same foot? That would actually make a difference with something this short of a distance.

Sounds like everyone agrees for the most part, even if the details are slightly varied. However seeing as how I currently do CrossFit 4-6 times a week might be tough to squeeze these in. Thanks for input though.

Since you're doing this for fitness and not some sort of competition, why not alternate which leg you start on? I used to always start on my left, but I've switched to alternating because my body was severely out of balance.
