Default CES 2011

Anyone going to CES this year? Plan to go on Sat and hopefully pick up some freebies on Sun.
Last year was 3D TV and Android everything coming out party. This year supposes to be tablet's year.

LG announced a portable Blu-ray player.

Someone needs to tell LG why Blu-ray is appealing...because I'm not sure they get it.

It would be nice if your whole collection was blu-ray. Or even a majority of your collection. Currently, there is no way to take that with you.

If you are buying BluRay, are you wanting to buy DVD also for your portable? (but then, most people with BluRay are watching on a iP*d when traveling.)

So many Blu-ray packages come with either a DVD or digital copy of the movie, that I actively refuse to buy one without one (or both) of those bonuses.

I understand not everyone thinks like me though

I would never carry physical discs along with me when travelling. Just rip it or since you've already bought the movie, download.
