I've been tasked with proposing a redesign for our exam policy with the 2011 changes, and I want to try to get a feel for what the industry is doing on a few things.
1) Company or Consultant? 2) What is the full exam study time? 3) Do you give study time for VEE? If so, what % of the full exam study time do you give? 4) Do you give study time for the Online Courses? If so, what % of full study time do you give? 5) Do you treat 3L and 3F as separate exams? If so, do they each get full study time? 6) Do you give an ACAS raise or bonus? If so, how much? 7) Do you give an FCAS raise or bonus? If so, how much? 8) Can a student fail out of your program? How many fails does it take? Are they readmitted with a single pass if they do fail out? Thanks.

1. Company
2. 20 hours per hour of exam. 50% of that on second attempt. None on 3rd attempt. 3. no 4. undecided. I proposed a small amount of study time, but have not heard back from Senior management on that proposal. 5. Yes. They each get full study time. 6 and 7. Yes. $500 bonus plus an unlisted raise amount. 8. Yes. Four consecutive exam failures, but readmitted with a single pass. |
