With your solution, it's as if you subtract X from the first payment of 2500. The deductions are supposed to start on the 2nd payment. That's why you multiply V to the X(Iaangle24). So you end up subtracting only 24 times..

Edit: I just saw the formula you were referring to... Using your formula, Ia_25 is not the same as the factor used to multiply to Q. In Ia_25, you use a(doubledot). The formula uses a(no dot).

I just realized that is exactly what I did. Thanks.

I had actually downloaded one of the formula sheets from the notes section, and that's how it was on there...glad I asked.

I prefer that you not post sample exam problems on the AO. I don't want students that have not taken the exam yet to see the problem. You can email me any questions you have about the sample exams.
