It isn't a very big pond. I generally run into the same people ever 4 hands or so.

I know, still not the same though

The "opportunity cost" thing bothers me though, anyone else

when i've played the PLO it's usually pretty easy to figure out who is who because there are only ~100 ppl playing at a time. but i agree the dynamic is not the same as normal table. i will often go through the hand history to see what people had after i fold. can be very helpful the next time i see them in a hand. like glassjaws said, you will see them again within a few hands or so.

I'm not very good at poker, so I find the Rush to be interesting. I play low stakes to amuse myself. I don't think I'll ever make money doing it.

I'm not a fan either. To me, the only benefit of playing rush is to "play quicker" - i.e., to not have to wait for your next hand once you fold. If I'm feeling impatient and want to have less waiting, I'd rather just play multiple tables at once.

THe biggest advantage is the ability to play on your phone, that is it (oh, and good for rakeback/hour). Otherwise, Rush poker sucks. It is easier to take advantage of regs than you think though. Holdem manager will update the HUD during the hand to help with decisions.
