Based on the new readings on the Exam 7 syllabus, copulas are a major component of the ERM portion of this exam.
What sorts of questions do you think will be asked regarding them? Many of the specific copulas presented have rather involved formulas, and it would not appear sane to require memorization of those. Would the focus be more on the qualitative aspects of the more complex copulas -- along with the application of copula mathematics to the simpler copulas? In this thread, I invite people to create and post sample questions of the sort that could reasonably be expected to appear on the exam. I will do so myself in the future as well. |

Greetings.
I have created a study guide based on Feldblum's "Dependency Modeling" paper. It includes 50 questions and solutions that I developed on the basis of the text, as well as my answers to most of the exercises that Feldblum presents. Feldblum's answer keys mostly only provide hints as to the answers, whereas I try to be thorough and complete. Feel free to suggest any additions/revisions, as well as to point out any errors. It is my hope that other candidates preparing for this exam will also be motivated to develop their own questions on the syllabus material. Sincerely, G. Stolyarov II, ARe, AIS |

Greetings.
I have created a new study guide on Venter's paper, "Tails of Copulas". It is available as a free downloadable PDF here, as well as on my central index page of study materials for the new Exam 7: http://rationalargumentator.com/actu...udy-guide.html Sincerely, G. Stolyarov II, ARe, AIS |
