We need to disqualify Young the Giant. Their album is #42 in this week's Billboard Top 200.
Last chance to get in your selection for Guess Werewolf's Song!

My points:
3 points Kim the Waitress - Material Issue (and screw y'all who hated this song! And I still don't see the Breakfast at Tiffany's connection. The fact that so many people hate this song, that bothers me. I can see I don't stand a ghost of a chance) Something In The Water - Brooke Fraser (I like what she sings what she sings what she sings) 2 points Something Good - Utah Saints - never heard this back in the day, I liked it Ribbon of Red - Sonia Leigh - first thought was that I hated her voice, but gradually, I started to like the song 1 point High Rise - Hawkwind Now It's On - Grandaddy Cough Syrup - Young the Giant Neglekted - Afghan Whigs (Needed a cigarette after hearing this song) The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove - Dead Can Dance WTF Butcher the Song - Cursive - okay, I have to bring this up, WHAT IS THE DEAL? only evilaustintom so far has given this band 0 points. Most of the time I can at least start to understand how a song can rise to the top. I can't understand this one in the least. Honestly, I couldn't understand Skrillex last round either. Paired with the fact that my song, Kim the Waitress, is getting no love (except from Gentle Giant!!!), I think I can safely conclude that my musical tastes are waaaay outside that of the rest of the group. Oh well. Life goes on.

well, my replacement for round 5 just got blown out of the water. Stabbing Westward's self-titled album placed #47. So freakin' close.

My guess it that you're a pretty content person, and that songs about anger and frustration (and for this song the method of delivery is just as angry as the lyrics themselves) don't speak to you in any way. So honestly, it might just mean that you're more mature and happy than most of us. No red font intended.

Yeah, I don't get it. It's a genuinely good song that contains plenty for most people to enjoy.

And that was even their worst album. I have a sweet version of What Do I Have to Do? with just the singer and piano.

They're just a NIN clone anyway (from what I've heard).

I didn't find this week very strong. I don't think there's any song that I will want to listen to again after this week. Again, I'll be grading on a curve. And since I seem to be the only one who didn't find this a strong week, that suggests 14 people like 14 songs, and I'll be coming in last.
4 points Utah Saints 2 points Brooke Fraser Grandaddy Material Issue - One of these days, I will be listening to my iPod, and I'll hear the song I'm reminded of. Something about the melody of the pair of two syllable words in the verses is very familiar. Young the Giant - Second best song this week. 1 point Larry and His Flask Ólafur Arnalds - Yay strings. Remy Shand - Groovy. For some reason, I'm reminded of Tina Turner's cover of Let's Stay Together. 0 points Blue Merle - Not my style. Nice mandolin. Dead Can Dance - Have heard of them. Unusual instrumentation, but didn't interest me at all. Hawkwind - These lyrics are just a little creepy. Sonia Leigh - Not my style. Typical pop-country keyboards. The Afghan Whigs - Have heard of them. Didn't like the song. Negative Points Cursive - How does that go? "The song has gone on too long"? I couldn't agree more. This is not music. The Human Abstract - This is not singing.
