Default SolarMax

I like this game, but wish it had more maps, or multiplayer option*.

For reference, my best times at Normal level are:

*I'm pretty sure I'd stink at a multiplayer version.
**It's not from Notdoppler, but that's where I play it. Also of note is the Dust "game" that's been on Notdopplers top 10 list for literally years. It's a particle simulator that people do amazing things with.

A cute addictive game. Last couple of levels are pretty hard!

It appears the best strategy is to populate as fast as you can, and if one of your planets is attacked, defend with as much force is as necessary.

It seems to me that the best strategy is to concentrate your force and attack as soon as possible and as often as possible.

On several of the maps, I never own a planet.

Finished the levels on easy...the upper levels were hard. The mothership is basically a planet, laser, and shipyard combined, but when you defeat it it blows up all your ships, too - you cannot take control of it.

Find the "normal" difficulty much harder, especially at the upper levels. Finally figured out a strategy for level 17, but it still took a few times to get the timing of the strategy correct to win.
