Default MFE in application

Hey guys,

I was wondering if the material studied in MFE is used in someone's real work experience or not.

Is it just for cramming and passing, or are there topics that are good to learn and integrate long term that will be used later in your work experience?

Don't know if thats a dumb question or not...

Yes, some of the materials that I studied in MFE have been recently applied to my real work experience, particularly the Black-Scholes framework and the risk management technique like delta hedging.
