I'm interested in the timing of such deals being completed and players being available for use on my team. If a deal is completed sometime on a Friday, will the trade go trough in time for the players to be on their new teams in time for the Sunday games?

I think the commish can push it through, but I'll have to check. I'm not sure if any Thursday players are involved will mess it up.

Does a deal even "pend" in this league. When I did both of my deals players were swapped instantly. There was no waiting period.

I imagine if a player had already played Thursday that might change things.

Agree. I think the players move as soon as the commish OK's the deal.

I don't even think the commish is involved. As soon as I hit "accept" the players were swapped. Which coming from the FBB world where deals sit for 2 days or until the commish gets around to hitting "approve" I found a bit odd.

How Thursday night football games are handled

Weekly Waivers:
Weekly waivers do not change based on early week games. We offer 2 settings:

First game of the week - Tuesday waivers: Leagues that use this option will have all unowned players placed onto waivers once the Thursday night game begins and continues until Tuesday.

Sunday - Tuesday waivers: Leagues that use this setting will not have their weekly waivers affected for Thursday night games. All players will go on waivers at the beginning of the first game on Sunday morning.

Example of the Sun-Tues weekly waiver: All players will be available as Free Agents until the first game of the week on Sunday. This means that if a team's starting RB is injured during the Thursday night game, the backup RB can be added to a manager's team at anytime during and after the Thursday night game. This is because your league's weekly waiver rules don't take effect until the beginning of the first game on Sunday morning. This example holds true for all players that are unowned in your league.

Lineups:
Players involved in Thursday night games will be locked 5 minutes prior to kickoff. This will affect active rosters and bench players. Lineup decisions need to be made prior to this deadline.

If a manager is adding a player that was involved in a Thursday night game, the manager will not be able to move the player into their starting lineup until the following week.

Players that are in an active roster spot for a Thursday night game cannot be dropped until the next day. However, the drop will not take effect until the following week.

Trades:
If a player is used in an active roster spot that is involved in a trade, the trade will get pushed back and it will get processed for the upcoming week In order to have the trade processed for the current week, the team that owned the player that was involved with the early week game would need to bench that player. It is not possible for a manager to actively use a player and then trade that same player before the week has been completed.

Early games do not impact the leagues trade review period, and the trade will be processed when the specific trade review period in your league has been completed.

One item to note all players that are traded are placed on your bench, that being said if you acquire a player who has already played for the week they will be locked on your bench until the following week.
