In any case, I didn't have to study for FM at all, I just took my seeing-eye cat into the testing center and had it dance on the keyboard for a few minutes. When the guy at the counter gave me my "PASSED" printout on the way out he suggested I apply for MENSA certification. I gave him a "hell-yeah" look and a high five and we went down to the dock to chill with a 12 pack of Natty Lite and talk about all the losers who had to study for these tests.

I spent around 350 hours and passed the first try. This exam is a bunch of random stuff that only really relates in the sense of basic statistical knowledge, so I had to review it extensively. I studied around 120 hours before the summer, quit studying during the summer, and then started back up again. As such, I probably could have studied less and felt comfortable if I would have learned it all at once.

less than 110 hours.
Mostly during work study time.
Don't like studying at home.

About 360, I think I could have done in in 200-300 though, reflecting on how easy my exam was.

I spent probably over 900 hours on this exam... no joke. It was relatively smooth sailing until this point, but no other prelim tripped me up like this one. At this point, though, I know this material like the back of my hand. I expect it to be almost totally gone by the end of the month. :P

Somewhere between 200-250 for me. I definitely slacked with studying for this exam, and crammed the weekend prior to sitting. I'm glad it worked this time, but I can't repeat this again.

About 350 hours, mostly because I didn't study seriously enough the first time and had to retake. Will not repeat that mistake again.
