Default When do companies recruit winter actuarial interns?

Hi guys,

I will be graduating next year from a school in NYC with a GPA of 3.3 and have passed three exams so far.

I am an international student and want to do an internship before I graduate, therefore, I start looking for winter internships. The reason is that I will not be eligible for summer internship since I am graduating in May next year.

Most of the insurance companies or consulting firms usually recruit summer interns,

but do any companies recruit winter internships? Especially in NY/NJ, Boston or Chicago areas? And what companies provide sponsorship to their winter interns?

Thanks in advance.

Winter internships aren't common.

I agree that chances of getting winter interns are much less than summer interns.

We have winter Co-op students, but no interns.

I've heard of some smaller companies having winter internships and internships after having graduated. However, it's very hard to get sponsored and your GPA and your English skills aren't that great. I hope you didn't come to the US with the intention of getting a job here after graduation, you'll most likely be disappointed.

Thanks in advance.

You'd have to call smaller companies. large companies usually don't as they have a set budget.

Thanks for your reply and honesty.

However, I'd rather try and get disappointed.
