Alright, I am not a nutrition or digestive systems, can someone explain to me in simple terms what exactly the IFOCE competitors do in Quantitative Eating? How do they ingest all that stuff? They can't even have a "reversal of fortune" in these events? And somehow many of them never get fat?

Part of it is that they only eat like this once in a while and merely train in between. Similar to marathon runners, who don't train by running marathons.
I really wonder if their bodies actually process all those calories that they consume or if much of it simply gets passed through. I don't know, just guessing here. Also, I would think added exercise could help. |
