Anyone have an objection to 12/26 and 1/2 being off weeks for the holiday. We'll pick up with week 6 on 1/9, after week 5 next week, assuming the big one doesn't hit and all of you go out of business.

sounds good. We might need some PM'd reminders that things are back underway after the holidays.

Get rates in today, then I'll release tomorrow and we'll be on break.

Things I've learned:

1. Random numbers hate hotdime. e.g.: GL-Main St had the worst industry results, and then her company goes and pulls a 1-in-30 year event for even more bonus losses.
2. People might need reminding that if you are getting 'assumed losses', your rate is higher than 'reasonable'.
2b. If a catastrophe happens, and you assume $100M of losses, those are NOT covered by reinsurance.

Takeover bids are due by Wednesday at 12:00 noon. They should be PMed to me. Remember you are limited to 80% of capital as your bid, since there is a 25% of bid legal fee if you are successful. There is a 10% charge if you fail.

So, I made more reasonable choices, but still ended up doing the worst of everyone. Awesome.
