Use little arrows to sort. We're between Uganda and Nepal. :/

Which is why revolution should be a last, last, last, last resort. Our system's shortcomings, while admittedly nonzero, don't rise anywhere near "hey, a revolution would actually be better!" territory.

Didn't say they are. But a protest (or a riot) is also the voice of the people.

"Voice of the people." Bull. Sh*t.

A protest is the voice of the people protesting, often saying things they don't particularly understand.

A riot is the voice of the people rioting saying "I'd like to burn/break/steal me some sh*t!".

The world has drastic differences in available technology, industrialization, war, colonialism as excuses for great disparities. What's ours?

Well all political action, from voting down to regicide, is done by the people who are the loudest, care the most, and have the most free time. Nobody ever particularly understands. It's always up to the pundits and pastors what actually comes out of their mouths. The interesting thing, the thing that makes me want to go back and pick up a sign, is that the causes they're discussing are more complex and more intellectually justifiable, on a subtle level, than the issues that bring voters to the booth.

Disparities in education level, disparity in ability to use technology, huge global availability of low skilled labor, incentives at the margin for the poorest to stay poor...

So, today as I was leaving work there was a lady wearing a mask and showing off her belly and white bra. It was nasty though...she was probably in her 40's and she was not fit at all. If her intention was to gross us out she did a great job. At least she had a mask on.
