Of course this doesn't include some advance cities like hong kong, Tokyo and Singapore

Probability = 5/150 = 0.0333, in avg, i will get my green card when i apply for it thirty times.

I applied for over 150+ actuarial and non-actuarial jobs, got 34 interviews, 0 offer. For me, a low GPA international student, there is no chance to get a job here.
34 interviews and 0 offer? Maybe it is more about interview skills? I have an average interview skill as well, but I am working on it by reading some books, which I think it really helps. I can introduce some for you if you want

Same level of purchasing power, or same level of actual dollars?

For credential actuaries: Same level of actual dollars (maybe sightly higher). Purchasing power is slightly higher.

For entry level: Monthly salary is about $1000, and purchasing power is under the national average.(worse)

You know what? You had 34 chances and let them all slip.

There's already plenty of dumb Americans, why would we need to hire a dumb international student?
