Pretty easy exam, alot easier than I thought while I was giving the ASM papers, not 100% sure on 5 questions though. There was one question amongst them at which I was shocked I wasn't getting the answer, it look pretty simple, seemed pretty simple but for some reason I wasn't getting the answer.

Oh well. Hopefully I didn't do any dumb mistakes which would fail me.

So weird how everyone is around that 25 range. I have this sick feeling I'll get straddled with a 5.

Anyone here take the CBT last time? How did it compare? Did they take the full 8 weeks for results?

This is the first exam I've taken that didn't have an unofficial pass/fail right away so I've never really cared about finding out when they post scores. Could someone remind me about how we find out when the passing list is published? Do they email us or do we just have to go look at the website every so often?

I took it. Yeh it took about that long. There's an identical question from last time this time around, which I found funny

They generally keep the same test bank for every CBT test i think, which would we be a reason why we couldn't discuss problems

There is no comparison between the SOA 76 and the exam. In my opinion the writers of the sample problems were operating on a completely different level, at least for the last half of those questions for sure.

Yea, this made me mad. The sample questions were a) few in number by far compared to other exams, b) not even representative of the real thing, and c) poorly-written. Their solutions are often more convoluted than necessary and pretty hard to follow.

As someone who used the SOA set to pass the other four prelims, this was discouraging.
