For those using the 9th edition, can you check page 17, quiz 1-8 to see if that question has an error in it? It gives a spot price in pounds/yen, then lists a strike price for a pound-denominated put option on yen as pounds/yen, but then says that an equivalent yen-denominated call option has a strike price in yen. Is the equivalent strike price for the equivalent call option supposed to be in yen per pound? I'm trying to follow the equation on the bottom of page 16, but I don't know where the exchange rate would have fallen off when converting a pound put into a yen call.

Got through chapter 3 today. Chapter 3 is not nearly as annoying as the previous two, for some reason. I guess because probability and volatility get involved.

I looked at the pass rates. 72% is pretty damn high. That has me a little worried. The material doesn't seem very difficult so far so hopefully this is just an easy exam like FM

Just finished ASM section 16 this weekend, hoping to get through the remainder in the next few weeks.

Mine is android too. The one I use is called "My Work Clock". It seems to do the job nicely. I just switched to android before the start of this exam season though, so I haven't had to mess around with the export functions yet.

What is everyone's basic study plan? I am watching all of the TIA videos and doing the Lesson practice problems in ASM to make sure im retaining the knowledge. With about 4-6 weeks until the exam, I'll start ADAPT. I'll try to start out with an ADAPT exam every 2 days (In all, I should finish at least 20 ADAPT exams). I'll also do the SOA problems about 2 weeks before the test to make sure I'm covering all of my bases (I should know how to do most of the SOA problems by then). I'll also do the TIA practice exams.

Currently I am on The Greeks (ASM Lesson 10).
