Default ACTEX Applied Statistics Online Course Winter 2011/2012

So far, it's living up to the billing. The instructor actually provides good documentation and explains everything using everyday language! I can already tell that I'm going to like this course.

The subject material seems interesting and nothing is terribly over my head so far. Let's see how things go - keeping my fingers crossed.

I totally agree.

Did I mention I haven't cracked the book yet?

Seriously though, it does seem like it will be a pretty good course.

Week 2 complete. I'll be working on lab 1 tonight.

This is definitely the way to go if you're looking for Applied Statistics VEE credit. I have nothing but good things to say about the course so far.

Dr. John Perry seems to be quite experienced at organizing and running an online course, based on what I've seen. If subsequent weeks measure up to the first two weeks, the course will get an A+ grade from me.

Thank you, ACTEX and Dr. John Perry.

Did I already pass the registration deadline? I don't see the course you're talking about on their website.

This seems like Time Series only.

The class has already started, allingh. Yea, I haven't really opened the book either. The instructor's material has been sufficient thus far. This is the only VEE that a class is required for, and I'm glad it's relatively painless.

I'm doing Lab 1 and Quiz 2 today.

Halfway through this course...

This course gets an A++. Perfect score. 10 points out of 10.

There isn't much else to say about this course.

For those who need the Applied Statistics VEE, I would advise people to cough up the extra couple hundred bucks, commit the 10 weeks and sign up for the course the next time it's offered.

This is a rare case where you get what you pay for and whatever time you invest in the course is well spent.

Finished all of the material; the final exam awaits!

I got my money's worth from this course, that's for certain. It was an easy and fun way to fulfill my final VEE requirements.

Now I have to see how the grading process plays out. Afterwards, the final exam... but I like my chances of passing this course. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I'll vouch for that! Although the proctor process is a little tedious (I had to email about 30 people), the rest of the course went great! Perhaps I'll post a bigger review after the final exam if I'm not drowning in MFE.

Just finished the course.

I stand by everything I said in past posts.

This is the option you want to take in order to fulfill your Applied Statistics requirements.
