Just took MFE, not feeling great about it. However, even if I fail MFE I will still study for C in May and retake MFE in April.

Working on my IA retake now , hoping to get FA out of the way right after my IA retake is graded (late Jan/early Feb?), and planning to start studying for C as soon as I finish the modules (just need module 7 EOM and all of module 8).

I've got a 9th edition ASM, which is old, but apparently there are no curriculum changes since then. And I'm definitely going to focus on only the core first, and then go back to the other chapters if time allows. (With four teenage daughters at home, it's hard to get in as much study time as I'd like.)

I'm also thinking of seeing if my work can spring for a seminar for me. Any advice re: what seminars are best? Has anyone officially scheduled seminars for C in May yet?

waiting on IA results (maybe jan/feb), take FA in feb, then order the newest BPP manual for C... hopefully i can put C down for good this time!!!

i used TIA, went to TIA's live seminar (REALLY good btw), used Actex, used ADAPT, and used BPP for C. i prefer TIA and BPP for this exam in particular. i have coworkers that swear by ASM for everything; the length has always scared me away, lol.

Default question about asm

I was wondering for those who have asm. I heard that it has a 13 week study schedule does that include time to take practice exams?

No, it doesn't include time for practice exams. However, it's not hard to condense the schedule and complete it faster. I made it through the entire manual in a month (although I skipped sections that were described as rarely tested).

Just ordered TIA. I plan to start looking at it tomorrow. My plan is to do both ASM and TIA for this one. Maybe a bit of overkill but I want to pass on my first try, and I think I will need the whole 5 months to do so.... this stuff doesn't come naturally for me.

Signing in.
Passed MFE 5/2011 and I took a little break. Now, I'm having a little trouble getting started again.

I plan to use TIA and ASM. I find Weishaus to be a bit snarky, but it's one of those "tough love" type things. TIA is a bit friendlier and Daaaave is a great instructor. I'm hoping the combo will be a good fit.

Good luck everyone!

Here we go....
