Default Movine iTunes Music Library to other PC

Hi, everyone. Currently, I manage four iPods from my laptop. My Mom's music and my sister's music are in the Music Library and the content of each of their iPods appears in a unique Playlist. This is ok, but it makes it hard when they want to change or add something for themselves.

Is there a way for me to go into the path, say yadda, yadda, iTunes/iTunes Music/Artist Folder/Album Folder/Song and grab this music, copy it onto a thumb drive and then load it over to their laptop? I know the iTunes program is free, I am just wondering what the steps are to get their music into the new Library and whether I will be blocked somehow from copying the songs. Thanks so much. Happy holiday week.

If it's mp3s you can copy anything over you want. Just copy them to the hard drive and then drag into itunes. If it is stuff purchased from itunes you may have DRM/license issues. If so you can authorize up to 5 computers per itunes account.

It's computers (or more specifically it's copies of iTunes, so don't have two copies of iTunes on same PC). iPods, iPhones, etc don't count.

So each computer then can sync up to 4-5 devices? My wife has an ipod, iphone and ipad. She syncs all 3 to her one computer's itunes.

Yup. That's the way I understand it. In the past, I've had iTunes authorized on 5 computers, and synced 4 devices to them with no problems. You can always check for your self. In iTunes, under account somewhere it will tell you how many computers are authorized. This count has never included iPods/iPhones/iPads.
