Is Cecil Fielder kept?
If you draft Cecil we'll let you have the Kila Monster for free.

I'll play if you need another person. If not, I guess just add me to the wait list.

Actually, drop me off the wait list. I'm possibly going to miss a good portion of June, and that's probably not a great idea in what looks like a daily league.

Awesome. So we have plenty of waitlisters, right? Besides getting a final response from harvma, we're pretty much set for the start of our preseason activities, right?

harvma needs to make a decision. With the trading starting next week, it would be nice to know that he is in or not. Also, allows all the new managers to start at the same time. I think the new managers that are smart enough to trade for some decent keepers usually do a better job in this league than those that just sit with their picks, but a lot of it does come down to luck.

Also, if you are a new manager, you might want to look at last year's preseason trades (if you can find them, I'm too lazy) and get a sense of what you should be offering for a keeper. There is no real rule, you just want to make sure you get a good deal. Obviously you don't want to give away a 5th round pick for a 10th round keeper unless of course that 10th round keeper is projected to be a top 100 player, than I guess that might make sense.

By the way, I've got the 1st pick, which I have no clue who I will be picking. I haven't done a single bit of analysis yet and don't even know who is available to me. But I am going to entertain offers for it. So, let me know.

Just to get a quick idea of who would be available, here are the guys inelegible to be kept this year:

Joey Votto
Roy Halladay
Troy Tulowitzki
Miguel Cabrera
Robinson Cano
Joe Mauer
Adam Wainwright
Ubaldo Jimenez
Jayson Werth
Felix Hernandez
Tommy Hanson
Buster Posey
Neftali Feliz
Brett Anderson
Andrew Bailey
Andrew McCutchen

One guy jumps out to me as the #1 pick, closely followed by a couple others...
