HS teacher? That's what many of my peers have done. You won't make a lot of money, but there is demand and having Summers free is a huge bonus.

I second tutoring. You can start pretty quickly and drop it pretty quickly should something better come along, plus you'll probably make more than you would at Burger King.

People tell me they think I'd be a good teacher. But I don't think I'd particularly enjoy it. Maybe it's worth a try.

You might try comunity college teaching. You may be able to get a part time gig with no additional training.

Have you considered running for Congress? I hear it pays well and no experience is required.

On a less serious note, can you move to another location? Or have you done a nationwide search?

Back when I was still married I restricted myself geographically, but now I'm not. Hasn't helped.

Get a nursing degree, go into that. You already have a BS so you'd just need to do a year or two of clinicals. Great pay, gobs of jobs, lots of vacation time, and if you like you can work 6 12-hour shifts + 1 8-hour shift every two weeks so you get more days off.

It'd be even easier for you as a man too, men are highly sought-after as nurses because there are so many women - they need workforce diversity.

Also as a nurse, there is never any working from home. Your work stays at work, always.

Have you been completely unemployed for years? If so I'm guessing you'll have trouble getting a job in any field.
