I'm actually going to take it in October.

From my personal experience with this exam and exam p, I learned that a few months for an exam is just not enough for me. It may work for some people, but I need 5-7 months to confidently learn the material for any given exam. It takes me three months to go through the material, and another three months of practice exams.

I work very slowly and tediously, I take my time with everything and try my best to understand every concept. It may take me longer, but with exams fees I'm saving money in the long run.

I half jokingly told my friend that during this exam I showed my work as if I was handing it in for partial credit.
The whole process will probably turn out to be more a test of endurance than anything else, so slow and steady may be the best approach in the long run. I took P in September, and I don't regret taking FM in February (as opposed to December) one bit. I feel like it created a chance for the material to really sink in.

So yeah, you have me convinced! I'm not sure if I'll do MFE or C, but I'll definitely take either the August or October exam (respectively). Some of the material looks really interesting, so I'm kinda psyched about getting started.

I got a 7. Going in I would have been very happy with a 6, but leaving I felt like I had an 8 or 9. Either way I'm happy!

Haha, Yeah I agree oceankyle. When I left there was only 1 question (in my mind) that I didn't know. I got a 7. But since 6=7=8=9=10, I couldn't be happier.

Cheers
