I'm playing a cat on my first playthrough. I forgot about the claws, no wonder I own the fistfights. Now, if only I could keep my companions alive.

So.... I just barely figured out that along with increasing Magicka, Health, or Stamina with each leveling up you could get a perk. I couldn't figure out what my damn problem was, had given up on four side quests. Went and loaded all my saved up perks.... lotta dead bodies last night. Kickin' a@@, taking gold.

Nicely done, I laughed. Yeah they help a bit.

I find it really hard to choose which perks to use. I tend to have quite a few saved at all times.

My first playthrough looking back, I picked some pretty bad perks. I feel much better this go around.

I got smithing and sneak attacks first. They are everything to my toon.

I've so far focused on mostly theif perks. Quit a bit of archery and stealth, some light armor and alchemy for bonuses, even a bit of lockpicking, I'm sure there was a reason...Not a lot of other things so far. Might do smithing so that I can make a matching set of dragonscale, but I hate to use like 6? perks just to do that.

I avoid alchemy perks like the plague, and im cheating on lockpicking with a mod, so theres a few saved there. After playing through fallout a few times and having just finished up on the easier level toon. The novelty of the lockpicking minigame has long long left the building.

I'm surprised you dont have smithing, best way to make weapons significantly more awesome.
