Default Bureau of Counterterrorism

WTF do we need ANOTHER bureau of anti-terrorism for?

http://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2012/01/180136.htm

Quote:
The Department of State announces the establishment of the Bureau of Counterterrorism, fulfilling one of the key recommendations of the Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review concluded in December 2010. The Bureau of Counterterrorism will lead the Department’s engagement in support of U.S. government efforts to counter terrorism abroad and to secure the United States against foreign terrorist threats. The new Bureau will assume the responsibilities of the Office of the Coordinator for Counterterrorism.
Great more sickos will be using NDAA and the (UN)Patriot Act to search me, molest me, spy on me, etc.

Is 2012 the year the Electronic Police State Control grid goes live and folks like me disapper?

It's not "anti" terrorism...it's "counter" terrorism...I guess that means they will use terrorism against the terrorists...?

Then we'd ALL be terrified!!!

I bet they will have a cool underground headquarters with lots of video screens, manned by quirky irreverent types with zero patience for the suits who pretend to run things.

It's funny how good Government is at following the recommendations of committees when it means more spending and bigger government.
