I'm fine with it; I've been resisting the urge only because the words are all supposed to be normal or whatever, but now that I see one of BC's submissions was OREAD, I'm not so sure.

I can confirm that OREAD is one of the two words I considered but did not ask to be changed. But I remember enough Greek mythology to use it in a sentence, so...

MONAL looks totally fine to me. Then again, I did a semester on Liebnitz back when I was a philosophy grad student, and probably used it in a sentence at the time. "Gottlieb's monads proceed (in their monal way) to perpetuate the paradigm of unification through diversification and pangyroscopism..."

Never mind, MONAL sucks.

See, I can't use MONAL or OREAD in a sentence. Since OREAD has two anagrams I *can* use in a sentence (OARED and ADORE), I wouldn't have cared. MONAL, OTOH, I would've thrown out.

meh... OREAD translated to OARED, so that one didn't matter much

but MONAL sucks (or so I've heard)

Except for people like you who are not yet eligible to join the party.

I'm sure IMP's good for some alcohol.

OTOH, I will also disclose that at least one of Browncoat's remaining words going into this round was the last word I thought about disallowing, but ended up allowing. So we'll just have to wait and see how badly MONAL really sucks, won't we.

You just did, twice.

A monal is a type of bird.
