First and most importantly:

If you want to play, DO NOT post in this thread that you are playing. Letting others know that you are playing is not a wise strategy. You can only sign up for the game via PM.

This is a game that is unenjoyable to watch, enjoyable to play, and easy to moderate. It could potentially last for months, or even years!

Here are the rules:

1. As mentioned above, sign up by PMing me ONLY. DO NOT mention your participation within this thread (or anywhere else). You may not play under more than one ID.
2. I will assign you another player in the game to target.
3. You must sandwich the post of your target anywhere on the AO boards and send me a PM with a link to prove it. The official time of the kill will be the time that the killer sends me the PM proving that it took place.
4. A sandwich is when Player A posts, immediately followed by Player B, immediately followed by Player A (ABA). In this situation, A would have eliminated B. To qualify for a kill, no other people may post between those posts.
5. Double posting, etc., will not save you from a sandwich -- ABBA will result in B's elimination by A.
6. Deleting posts is not allowed.
7. The post starting the sandwich must be made AFTER the official start of the game.
8. You yourself will be hunted by another player.
9. When you successfully assassinate your target player, their target will become your new target.
10. You win when you are the only player left.
11. You are not allowed to mention the name of your target to anyone, because you don't know who is playing.
12. You are not allowed to mention that you were playing and have been eliminated.
13. I may eliminate players from the game due to lack of posting. If you aren't posting, you can't win, but you can prevent someone else from winning and bog down the game. I will eliminate a player if I find that they haven't posted anywhere for 5 days or more.
14. When someone is killed, I will post about it in this thread, without mentioning any names. I will make that post as soon as I see the PM from the killer and have verified that it's a valid kill. The deceased will be notified by PM.

I will allow people to sign up up to Friday, February 17th. I will PM everyone their target and begin the game some time before Noon Eastern on Monday the 20th.

DD's Twisted Rulez:

I) Innocent bystanders - There will be a few targets in the game who are not actually playing. When you PM me to sign up for the game, submit the name of a poster that you want included... the bystanders will be chosen from the pool of submissions.

II) Zombies!!! - All assassinated players will become zombies when they are killed. When your first life is lost, you will be assigned a new target from your second list. The last living player will be the winner, and the zombie with the most kills at that time will be declared the most awesomest loser

You should allow for a BAB outcome as well, just like ion the original
