While bleeding may have been stopped, didn't Zimmerman say that Martin was bashing his head against the ground? Surely that would have caused cuts or scratches on his shaved head.

Just because you can't see them in this video doesn't mean they aren't there. I've read stories that said he didn't get medical treatment that night, but did go to the hospital the next day. Medical records would exist if that were the case.

Of course, a conspiracist might claim Zimmerman could have injured himself after leaving police custody that day, to help his claim of self-defense. But if that were the case, why would the injuries be noted in the police report? The police would have to be in on the conspiracy as well. Which seems unlikely to me.

Also, I would suspect a doctor would be able to determine roughly how long ago cuts and bruises happened. Or maybe that's just TV doctors who can do stuff like that.

Judge: Prosecution is doing nothing more the speculate on everything under the sun. Case dismissed.
