I'd love to have a video of the whole incident.
Zimmerman gets out of his car. What are the first words spoken between the two (assuming at least some words were spoken before gunshots)? |

Certainly. How many news stories have you read where they lead you to sentence someone to guilt and later you find out the details are completely different.
Sure it sounds like the guy killed an innocent black kid. But the story is so devoid of details...

I see the town's police just recently handed over this case to the state.
If they had dropped the case outright with no arrest and without a good explanation supported by witness statements or evidence other than whatever story Zimmerman told them, there would be riots.

This strange doctrine is not supported by statute or common law. This guy didn't seem to have any authority to confront the kid. 911 told him not to get out of the car. The death of the kid was a result of actions by an overzealous wanna be cop.
Fry him.

You're assuming that Zimmerman began the interactions between himself and the kid. I'm not saying he didn't, but I didn't read anything yet that said that is precisely what happened. If the kid approached him first, it could actually become a self-defense issue. (though he kind of ruins it if he gets out of the car unless there are specific circumstances why he was actually in more danger by remaining in the car)

I don't see how it is possible to believe he could not have drove past him.

Ironically, his dad probably thought his son was safer living there than in some inner city projects.
