Am I the only one who thought he was just exaggerating?

I do agree it was a poor move in either case. And it's definitely not a matter of dumbness, there's no evidence that his constitutional law course was that bad. Either strategic rhetoric, or just pissed off.

Yes, you are the only one. You're a fool if you really believe he was "exaggerating".

*shrug. I figured unprecedented is just one of those words people throw out. His use of "confident" is also obviously false, though everyone reads that as a figure of speech. I guess I don't understand you english speakers. :/

Iraq was actually the right call based on what was known at the time. Congress in a bipartisan fashion agreed.

Wrong.
It was the wrong call, and it was based on selective intelligence hand-picked and/or manipulated to fit his pre-determined course of action. It was completely the wrong call, and you would agree with this if Bush were a (D). Congress isn't without blame, they should have known Bush was a lying sack - but Bush was less than honest with the evidence, and his intentions.

Just like in poker, Bush had pot odds. He had to go all in. I believe Congress got the same evidence. It was highly bipartisan.

They did not get the same evidence. The coverup was highly bipartisan.
Bush lied to us and went to war. It cost us many billions of dollars and thousands of lives. Not sure how that is like playing a game of cards.
