Default August 2012 MFE Progress Thread

For those of us who aren't quite ready to take the April exam, here's a thread for your progress updates!

Been working since February and am up to chapter 20 in the ASM manual. Just a bit to go!

I'm at Chapter 10... Does that seem like I'm behind?

Ok good. I didn't think I was. I actually thought I may may started too soon. But when Stevenbl said he was at 10, I started to have a panic attack

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure I'm going to take it in August yet. I just passed P a few weeks ago and I'm not graduating college until December of this year. I have an internship this summer so it really just depends on how much studying I'm able to get done by the sign-up date. It would be awesome to have three prelims done by graduation, but I don't think it's a matter of life and death.

I haven't yet bought my study manual for MFE and forgot everything I learned about Derivatives Markets for FM... Does it seem like I'm behind?

Welp, pretty sure Im not going to pass in 10 days, but I'm giving it my best shot. I've gone through the ASM manual and am currently halfway through the SOA 76. I understand almost all the SOA problems when I see the solution, but I'm not at the point yet where I can solve most of the problems myself.

To be honest, you pretty much just need to know what a put is and what a call is. Most of the rest seems to just be on random problems.
