i will be studying for C by the end of the week even though I have more than 5 months left.

I'm not studying for C until my results come out. I'm not potentially wasting time and $ on study materials and then have to take MFE again.

Just an FYI - Plan to spend at least an extra month on C.

I think it's smart / basic to wait until the results come out though.

Started studying today! I was going to use ASM, but I decided to use the TIA seminar along with the Actuarial Brew review notes/huge question bank! My goal is to learn the material as quickly and efficiently as possible so that I can work a butt load of practice problems. Happy studying everyone!

First post!! I just passed FM a little over a week ago after a two year break. I hope to make up for lost time by passing MFE my first shot in August. Currently using an online ASM manual to learn from. Wish me luck!

Blah!!! Life got very busy in the last week so I really haven't dug into the material yet.

I'm hoping to really get started this week though.

I was thinking the other day about the prelim tests. I assumed most people taking P and FM weren't already working in the actuarial field but I wonder what percentage of people taking MFE are already working in the actuarial field.
