What I would like to know is WTF Rose was doing in there in the last minute of a blowout.

Rose is injury prone. He was going to blow his knee sooner or later. There was no way he was going to make it through the playoffs. I don't blame Thibs at all.

12 points is not what I would call a blowout. Most teams would still have their best finishers in the game at that point. Now 33 points, that is a blow out and you see the starters were out late.

if the refs are going to call flagrant fouls every time someone attempts to set a simple screen on lebron, the heat will certainly win the whole thing. lebron's a pretty good actor, i'll give him that.

no, it's not, but the calls were completely one-sided. once the knicks had cut the lead to 1 midway thru the 2nd qtr, the heat lived at the FT line the rest of the half.

w/out shumpert's athleticism, knicks will be lucky to win a game in this series, especially playing 8-on-5.

They may be better off giving jr smith more minutes, but I guess if it's only the good jr
