Is he actually trashing the CAS? If so, I think there are some Precept 1 issues with that.

Fair point, although are we sure there are no regulators at the health conference? If there is a regulator there that could go back to their state and damage the credibility of the P&C profession, an argument could be made, though likely a stretch.

Oh? CAS meetings often have 1 or 2 non-actuarial regulators speaking at them, but I guess they might not be at the opening session.
