When you stop saying that opposition to mandates for birth control is a WAR ON WOMEN, then you can complain about the Right calling this radical social engineering.

Immoral people like Rick Santorum will end up in the dustbin of history.

So anything seen as radical should be approved.

So I have to support a coreligionist even when he's a crook and a bigot?

That's a radical idea. So yes, you do have to support the coreligionist.

I'm just wondering why you're referring to opposition to gay marriage as immoral, when the entire heirarchy of your church opposes it.

Just because the entire hierarchy of the Church says the universe is geocentric doesn't make it true.

StE's point was to question why Jack belonged to that group. It has nothing to do with the validity of the group's position.

If the Pope believed in a geocentric universe, you would call him stupid, not immoral. Jack apparently believes the head of his Church is immoral.

I didn't speak on the "trueness" of the position. Nor do I think all Catholics must be against homosexual marriage. It was the "immoral" comment that intrigued me, and I just find it curious that Jack would claim membership in an organization run by people he views as immoral.
