Coaching Actuaries - MLC extensions for November

Since the most recent MLC exam we have surveyed our MLC students, reviewed comments on the forums, talked to our instructors and others in the industry to understand how to best update our MLC study system. Based on the input we received and study of the actual SOA exam we are in the process of updating our content to better reflect the weighting of the new material in the recent exam.

We are also providing free subscriptions to all MLC students who used our products to study for the May exam. This includes subscriptions to ADAPT, eManuals, and eCourses. Students will be granted the same subscription they purchased for the May exam for use in the November exam.

We understand the frustration of everyone who invested so much time and energy preparing for MLC and being surprised by the questions on the exam. We are working hard to update our tools to keep you from being surprised in November.

Updates include 85 new questions, most of them added to the practice exams to make the topic distribution like the Spring 2012 exam, an expanded lesson on UL, small expansions to some other topics, and advice throughout the manual on the importance of each topic on the exam. The revised sample excerpt which includes the updated table of contents and the updated practice exam 1, should be posted soon.
