Default Is U.S health care system civil?

classic example is sicko movie where the guy just got his finger cut off because he couldn't afford reattachement cost.....is that civil?

Most developed countries have universal health care.......Have no idea how we ended up here

You don't get top of the line accommodations, food, vehicles, etc. in America unless you can provide for them.

Why should healthcare be different?

everyone get food, but when someone dies because he can't afford an operation ...that is not civil in my opinion or loses arm or finger because he can't afford it...that is not civil by world standard...at least by measure of health services provided by developed countries.

The gov't is NOT civil, it's organized crime!

They have taken over healthcare and have ruined it just like everything else!

Watch carefully how well the rest of the 'developed' world does at delivering services when it is cut off from credit markets due to spending too much for too long.
The preview is : Greece

Do you believe that the general population in other developed countries and the Heads of State (or top businessmen) in those countires get the exact same care?

Do you think it is civil that you get better care than a child in Africa? Is there something about being born in a developed country that makes you more important that someone who wasn't?

It depends on what that operation is though. I think everyone should have healthcare in the case of an accident, as they are relatively rare. But for people who are merely sick, let them die if they can't pay for it. Why are we keeping a bunch of sick people around? I don't want to pay for that.

I'm sure the banks will do the civil thing and keep lending Greece enough money to pay for the healthcare that they don't want to pay for on their own.
