FINALLY got through on the phone... They're working on opening another (I think at both locations) sometime this week...

I'm lucky I loaded both pages starting at 12...
So, since it was incorrect and they may be opening another course in Vegas, what happens to us poor saps that gave up on Vegas for FTL in hopes to at least attend a course this winter?

I'm kicking myself in butt because I literally kept trying Vegas and at the 15 min mark I started clicking FTL as well and said I have to pick the first one that pops up. Since Vegas was redirecting me I assumed it was full and sadly succuumbed to FTL. Had I only refresed once more...

1. I'm not convinced they will be opening another in Vegas. Staky, were you told that they will probably be opening another at both locations? Chicago's the CAS's usual go to place for these meetings, and with the absence of anything from the CAS, I'd guess they will open a course there.
2. The CAS must have expected the spots to fill so quickly. 400 candidates just passed Exam 5 (many of whom just became eligible for the CoP), and there are only 120 slots for both locations. That being said, it's possible that the CAS has been planning secondary venues in both locations.

Uggghhh... link wasn't working, so i went to lunch. Not signed up for either course. On the waiting list, so hopefully they open another.

Chicago would be kind of depressing. I'm already going to be there for X-mas, so was really hoping for some sun.

Winter 2012 Course on Professionalism Updated July 23, 2012

Thank you for your interest in the December 2012 CAS Course on Professionalism. As you will note, both courses are currently sold out. The CAS is working to add additional courses to meet the demand and accommodate as many candidates as possible. Information pertaining to the additional courses should be available by the end of the week. Ideally the additional courses will be held in Ft Lauderdale and Las Vegas to run concurrently with the existing courses. In the meantime, please send an email to Leanne Wieczorek to be added to the wait list in order to effectively gauge demand. An update will be posted as soon as additional information is available.

Many thanks.

So keep adding yourself to the waiting list until we get enough people to run another COP.

Thanks

Anyone else notice that the charge $775 instead of the $750 stated on the site?
