Predict the SNL Hosts Game - Season 38
See the thread for season 36 here (Linus & OddSox tied for first place)
See the thread for season 37 here (LoneGirl, JoJo, & tometom tied for first place) Ok, let's see if we can continue to grow our participation in this game... Let's see who can do the best job of predicting who will be host SNL this upcoming season. Potential hosts could be movie/television actors, comedians, musicians, policitians, etc. I'll let you do your own research on who has hosted in recent seasons to help you formulate your guesses. The season premiere isn't until September 22nd, but the rumor mill starts early, and usually the first few hosts are confirmed in August, so for sake of fairness, we'll close the entries at the end of July. You should send your entries to me via PM any time between now and then, and you're free to send additional PM's if you want to edit your list as you see fit... The last 4 seasons have both had 22 episodes each, so let's work off of that assumption. If you send me a list of up to 25 names, you will score 20 points for each correct host. If you want more possible hosts, you can send a list of 26-30 names, but only get 17 points for each one correct. Or if you really can't make up your mind, you can send a list of 31-35 names, and score 14 points for each one correct. So in addition to being a good guesser, there's a trade off between more names and fewer points for each one you get right. Again, send all entries to me by PM by midnight Tuesday July 31st, and after all are in, I'll list the entries in this thread, and then frummie can handle the scorekeeping. If the mods, want to move this to Diversions, I'll gladly do it once entries are closed, for now I think more people might see it in NAT.
