Well I wouldn't worry about getting a 10 on FM because it's not always possible, but my advice for getting every question right would be:
1) Understand the theory, not just the formulas, so that you can figure out how to do problems you've never seen before.
2) Do as many types of problems as you can get your hands on.
3) Really understand how to do any problems you miss.

Then, on test day, re-read each question carefully to make sure you know what it's asking for and if you're good on time go ahead and look over problems when you've finished to make sure you didn't do anything stupid. Doing stupid things is what kills perfect scores.

Suppose we get the exam with a pass mark of 72% or more than 72% (or even >= 71.43%), so we are IMPOSSIBLE to get a 10. Although we made all questions correct, we only got a 9.
BUT if the exam is a bit harder, the pass mark will somehow decrease a little.
So we have a chance to get a 10 if we get all 35 questions correct.

To get that, we must do all the practice exams over and over again.
However I did all Actex, ASM, TIA PEs and I've found that I'd made many mistakes in every PEs.... so discouraged to get a 10.

Could anyone suggest the way or the new PEs for me for trying to get a 10 in this FM sitting??
If you get a 10, you wasted too much time studying.

FM is the easiest prelim, so the passmark is usually very high, which often makes it impossible to get a 10.

I just passed P, and studying FM right now. There is exam in Oct and Dec. For those who passed FM before, do you think about two months (take it in Oct) enough for preparing FM? or should I not rush and have more time to study and take it in Dec?

I am using ASM right now and it goes slower than studying the P because the FM manual contains more practice in every small section.

Thank you for all your suggestions!

it depends on your 'skills' but i'd say two months is enough for FM. I studied for 1-3 hours a day for about 5 weeks and pulled off a pass .. im still waiting for my score though

I got a 10 on the August 2009 sitting. All I did was go through the ASM manual twice, did the practice exams and the SOA practice problems once. I have no idea what the pass mark was though. It was probably a bit lower than it is now.

Are theoretical or even true-false questions possible to appear on the real exam?
