And the refund is already in the bank... If it wasn't so much of a PITA to claim more than 9 exemptions on the W-4, I'd make due with a smaller refund.

I usually do mine over the Memorial Day weekend. If you make sure that you are getting a refund, there's no hurry and the deadline is three years. Not the most financially efficient timing, but the lessened stress is worth it to me. Plus, from about now until then, I should have all of my paperwork, so if I think "Did I get a receipt for X?", I can run to the box and check, and I haven't filed yet.

Glad I'm not the only one who had that reaction.

Paid $40 to use Turbo Tax online like usual. Only takes 1-2 hours tops (closer to 2 this year because of buying a house and more forms). Refund was in my account in less than 8 or 9 days. Definitely worth the $40 for the ease of use, convenience, speed of refund, etc.

I'm usually done by now - but I put it off because of our vacation.

I keep an envelope near my desk all year to collect receipts and other tax-related documentation.

Last week -- I faxed everything to the accountant -- spent 15 minutes on the phone with her explaining some of my notes -- and I'm done! WooooOOOooooo!!

She will e-file them -- don't even have to sign them anymore.

I could do them myself -- but she makes it sooooooo easy.
