Default Poker: Chip tricks.

What chip tricks can you do?

I've got the chip shuffle down pat, no problems there.

The knuckle to knuckle is ok, just don't know what to do with the chip after it gets to my little finger.

The drop down, spin and replace. Well i've got the drop down pat, but for some reason i'm having dificulty with the spin. Often i drop the chip, otherwise the chip has "walked" to far from its origin and won't go back. Maybe my chips are too new and the sharp edges are hindering this.

What else is there?

I'm terrible at chip tricks, but here is a website that I saw awhile back:

It goes over the little finger and dragged underneath with your thumb. Your thumb then slides it up the forefinger until your middle finger can flip it back across.

chip tricks? Can't do many, but the best one I know - that I can only pull off occasionally - is making them multiply 2x or 3x in one hand.

It's just my personal opinion but I'd prefer not to be sitting at a table fiddling with my chips when I should be watching others.

Some players use it as a meditation like tool. Watch Gus Hansen. He is constantly shuffling his chips. I bet he doesn't even realize he is doing it.

Agreed. But *I think* that most players don't fiddle too much with their stacks unless it's for effect and they are trying to get a tell or intimidate etc.

shuffling has gotten so easy i don't think about it, i just do it.

Anyways while in reno, my +$1 session the player to my righ could do a chip twirl with 5 chips. chips 2 and 4 droped down. both twirled and both returned. I then challenged him to do so with 7 chips (which he accomplished once (most other times one would fall during the twirl)
