Default My name on my ticket of admission is wrong

So I'll be writing my first exam in May. I've received my ticket of admission, but it seems that the SOA has inputted my name incorrectly. My last name is correct, but my first name is missing the last character. Just my luck.

I suppose this is something I should have corrected before the exam. I'm assuming that I need to send the attached correction form back to them and hope they don't make the same mistake twice. If anyone has any experience with corrections, will they be mailing me a new ticket of admission? Hopefully it gets here in time. Otherwise, I guess this one is still okay.

What a hastle.

You won't have any problems. Certainly try to get it corrected. But if you cannot, show up for the exam. Odds are the proctors won't even notice the discrepancy. If they do, they'll make a note on the Supervisors Report, it'll be no biggie, and you'll be allowed to take the exam.

But just for peace of mind (and to make sure they know it's the same "you" when you register for the next one), you should definitely get it fixed.

Why don't you start by sending them an email and asking what standard procedure is in this case?

I guess I should've updated the thread.

I e-mailed the SOA and they corrected the error. New admission ticket is in the mail.
