Default tan: Poker Tournaments in Vegas

I saw some information on a few weekly tournaments in Vegas. I was hoping to get some more ideas on low limit - one day tournaments on weekends. That may help me decided where to stay.

Any suggestions??????????

I've never played there, but Sam's Town apparently has weekend NL tourneys with a $40 buy-in (and no rebuys).

I watched one at the Orleans a few weeks ago. They seem well run. Get there an hour early because the tournaments fill up.

Thanks guys.

Looks like many of these tournis have rebuys. I never played in one of those. I imagine it might change you strategy early on (more aggressive).

General rule of thumb: Play tight and strong hands aggressively, you will get more action than is normal. Don't bluff during re-buy period, except an occasional semi-bluff with a good draw. Oh, and don't ever put all your chips in with 27o (see bonehead move in ohter thread).
